Having trained and practised for over a decade with two of the UK’s 1st tier employment teams, David Stirrat has an outstanding breadth of cross-sector experience, including in Sports, Technology, Education, Energy, Charities, the Public and the Third Sector.
David covers the full spectrum of employment law, from recruitment and contracts through day-to-day HR advice, policies, performance and disciplinary, grievances and discrimination, departures and Restrictive Covenants. He has extensive experience in company rescaling and restructuring, including changing terms, redundancy consultation and TUPE.
David has a particular interest in Employment Tribunal litigation and he has maintained an active caseload since qualification, regularly appearing in Employment Tribunals across the UK.
Personable and engaging, David brings a fresh and jargon-light approach. He is adept at quickly identifying the crux and context of issues and providing commercially attuned and pragmatic advice.
