As a highly versatile commercial litigator, Raheel has represented his clients at every level of court in E and W including the Property and Tax Tribunals. He has a reputation as an insightful tactician, who is reassuring and responsive with a genuine desire to win.
Raheel is a specialist in corporate and personal insolvency. He regularly acts for creditors, debtors, company directors and insolvency practitioners in contentious and non-contentious matters nationally and internationally.
He has a wide range of expertise in advising directors on disqualification proceedings under the Company Directors Disqualification Act 1986, having previously prosecuted such claims on behalf of the Secretary of State.
Raheel’s passion for law and international development has taken him to work in Belize as a volunteer lawyer assisting the government with domestic violence legislative reform. He has also worked at the Financial Conduct Authority and in the Attorney General’s Team at the Treasury Solicitors’ Department.
